Swap sides so that all variable terms are on the left hand side.
\sin(ϕ)x=y

\frac{\sin(ϕ)x}{\sin(ϕ)}=\frac{y}{\sin(ϕ)}
Divide both sides by \sin(ϕ).
x=\frac{y}{\sin(ϕ)}
