x^{2}z+10=3x
Multiply both sides of the equation by x+2.
x^{2}z=3x-10
Subtract 10 from both sides.
\frac{x^{2}z}{x^{2}}=\frac{3x-10}{x^{2}}
Divide both sides by x^{2}.
z=\frac{3x-10}{x^{2}}
Dividing by x^{2} undoes the multiplication by x^{2}.
