2x=x\times 4-\left(x-3\right)\times 5
Variable x cannot be equal to any of the values 0,3 since division by zero is not defined. Multiply both sides of the equation by 2x\left(x-3\right), the least common multiple of x-3,2x-6,2x.
2x=x\times 4-\left(5x-15\right)
Use the distributive property to multiply x-3 by 5.
2x=x\times 4-5x+15
To find the opposite of 5x-15, find the opposite of each term.
2x=-x+15
Combine x\times 4 and -5x to get -x.
2x+x=15
Add x to both sides.
3x=15
Combine 2x and x to get 3x.
x=\frac{15}{3}
Divide both sides by 3.
x=5
Divide 15 by 3 to get 5.
