2x+6-\left(x-1\right)\times 3=0
Use the distributive property to multiply x+3 by 2.
2x+6-\left(3x-3\right)=0
Use the distributive property to multiply x-1 by 3.
2x+6-3x+3=0
To find the opposite of 3x-3, find the opposite of each term.
-x+6+3=0
Combine 2x and -3x to get -x.
-x+9=0
Add 6 and 3 to get 9.
-x=-9
Subtract 9 from both sides. Anything subtracted from zero gives its negation.
x=9
Multiply both sides by -1.
