Swap sides so that all variable terms are on the left hand side.
-y=x^{3}-x^{2}
Subtract x^{2} from both sides.
\frac{-y}{-1}=\frac{\left(x-1\right)x^{2}}{-1}
Divide both sides by -1.
y=\frac{\left(x-1\right)x^{2}}{-1}
Dividing by -1 undoes the multiplication by -1.
y=-\left(x-1\right)x^{2}
Divide \left(-1+x\right)x^{2} by -1.
