To add or subtract expressions, expand them to make their denominators the same. Least common multiple of x-y and y-x is -x+y. Multiply \frac{b}{x-y} times \frac{-1}{-1}.
\frac{-b+c}{-x+y}
Since \frac{-b}{-x+y} and \frac{c}{-x+y} have the same denominator, add them by adding their numerators.
